DSMX TECHNOLOGY
DSMX technology can be turned on and off with this transmitter. The default is
for DSMX technology to be turned on. When it is on, the transmitter will bind to
standard DSM2 receivers and DSMX receivers. The only time DSMX technology
must be turned off is to bind to high-speed 11ms 2048 DSM2 receivers.
DSMX ON:
Press and hold the trainer button, and move and hold the sticks as shown below.
Turn on the transmitter, and you will hear a series of beep tones. Then release the
trainer button and the sticks.
DSMX cannot be turned on if France Mode is set. See page 13 for more
information on France Mode.
DSM2 ON:
Press and hold the trainer button, and move and hold the sticks as shown below.
Turn on the transmitter, and you will hear a series of beep tones. Then release the
trainer button and the sticks.
RECEIVER COMPATIBILITY
The DX4e is compatible with all current Spektrum
and JR
®
brands of DSM2
®
and DSMX aircraft receivers.
CAUTION: When using the DX4e with park flyer receivers (the
AR6115, AR6115e, etc.), it’s imperative that these receivers only be flown
in park flyer-type aircraft (small electric airplanes or mini and micro
helicopters). Flying receivers designed for park flyers in larger aircraft could
cause loss of connection.
Note: The DX4e is NOT compatible with the original DSM AR6000 receiver.
